Event Info
We’re back for our 5th year of the running of the Stratford 5k Run/Walk.
The Local CFC Stratford 5K Run/Walk will start and finish in Upper Queens Park Stratford Ontario. The route will take you past the beautiful Victoria lake and the legendary Stratford Festival theatres. This race will be chip timed and is welcomed to all runners, walkers and strollers. We will also have a FREE kids race with medals, starting 8:50am sharp. You must register your child(ren) to participate. The kids run is approximately 600 metres. 100% of the proceeds go to The Local Community Food Centre.
Something new to look out for this year. We’re introducing a green bib. Selecting the green bib means you are opting out from receiving a race t-shirt and medal. There is no discounts for green bibs through the early bird pricing window.

Race Day Registration fee is $60, please register online to avoid price increase!
Registration fee on October 3rd and 4th: $60.
We will try our best to have an electronic payment option but this is not guaranteed. Please expect to pay cash for registration October 3rd and 4th.
NO PETS POLICY:
For the safety and comfort of all participants, volunteers, and spectators, dogs and other pets are not permitted to participate in or accompany runners or walkers on the Stratford 5K course.
This policy is a requirement of our event insurance coverage and applies to all animals, including those being carried, leashed, or otherwise accompanying participants.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Refunds
You may request a full refund till August 31, 2026 by sending your request to stratford5km@gmail.com. We will refund the full amount minus the processing fee.
TEAMS – You may register as a team. There will be a team category award. 3 fastest times from your team will be used to determine the winning team. You MUST have the minimum number of 3 participants in your team!

The Race Start/Finish will be at the pavilion at Upper Queens Park, Stratford. 55 Queen St, Stratford, ON N5A 4M9
Parking
You can park at the Stratford Cooper Municipal Parking at 105 St Patrick St. https://maps.app.goo.gl/h3G3EB3WvvW9gYS87?g_st=ic. OR you may also park at the Cooper Bus Terminal at 290 Downie St, https://maps.app.goo.gl/urPCEaSKdF4aRwGH6. From here you will walk over to Cooper Bus Terminal where the city buses will shuttle participants, family and friends to the race location at Upper Queens park starting 7am.

Parking Notice: Parking at designated event parking locations is provided at the owner’s discretion. The Stratford 5K Run/Walk and The Local Community Food Centre do not operate, supervise, or manage these parking areas, and no event staff or volunteers will be assigned to monitor parking. Please park at your own discretion and follow all posted parking rules and restrictions.
